Terms and Conditions

 

Rate Validity:

  • The rate is valid for 7 days and is subject to revalidation, thereafter, excluding the implementation of any additional governmental taxes, duties, or levies.
  • Box Craft reserves the right to renegotiate the contract if market dynamics change significantly.

 

Included in Our Offer:

  • Secure lashing for loose cargo.
  • Free time for loading and unloading, with any additional hours being chargeable as trailer detention in accordance with the tariff.
  • Insurance for our personnel and equipment only.
  • Haulier Insurance – A copy can be provided upon request. If the cargo value exceeds this amount, you must fully insure the cargo with a waiver of subrogation against Box Craft.

 

Excluded from Our Offer:

  • Loading/unloading, unless stipulated in our offer.
  • Insurance of your cargo.
  • Any documentation/passes/clearances/charges, port fees, permission charges, road toll fees.
  • Delivery off blacktop roads into sand. Delivery to “live” sites, unless otherwise stipulated in our offer.

 

Free Time & Detention Tariff:

  • Pickup: Free time 2+2 hours. Thereafter, AED 30.00/hour and AED 300.00/full day standby.
  • 12 FBT: Free time 3+3 hours. Thereafter, AED 50.00/hour and AED 500.00/full day standby.
  • Any cancellation of booking should be informed at least 24 hours in advance to avoid cancellation charges.
  • Cancellation charges for mobilized truck/equipment will be charged at 50% of the quoted rate.

 

Terms and Conditions of Offer:

  • Subject to availability of the trailer at the time of cargo readiness.
  • Night charges will be applicable at AED 100 (after 10:00 pm).
  • Multi-point pickup will be chargeable at additional AED 100 per location, ensuring that any additional collection points are accounted for.
  • Customs inspection will be charged AED 100.
  • Insurance of your cargo must be arranged by you/your Principals at your cost, holding us harmless for any possible liabilities or claims. No insurance coverage of the goods/cargo.
  • The insurance must cover all risk coverage from the point of loading until discharge at the destination.
  • No subrogation rights to be issued, raised, or claimed against Box Craft.
  • All site access roads and unloading areas must be level with a minimum of 95% ground compaction.
  • Any claims must be submitted in writing within two (2) working days from the date of delivery.
  • Box Craft operates in UAE under local forwarding association NAFL trading conditions. (https://nafl.ae/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/NAFL-STC.pdf)
  • In the case of severe weather conditions, wind speeds, sandstorms, rain, fog, or any other cause other than Force Majeure, preventing our equipment from moving or operating, such periods will be considered regular time and chargeable as per our Standby tariff.
  • Supervision at the site will be under the client’s responsibility, and accordingly, the driver/operator will be under the control of the Client. The Client must ensure clear and proper directions are given for all work to be performed by the driver/operator and will be solely responsible for all acts or omissions of the driver/operator while performing duties under their supervision.
  • Any damages to third-party property arising out of such operations will be the Client’s risk, and such insurance cover should be arranged by the Client at their own cost with a waiver of subrogation towards Box Craft.
  • The Client will not request the equipment to be utilized to perform any duties beyond its rated capacity at any time.
